En avant les progrès (Forward Progress)

Recently appointed to the UCI Cyclocross Commission, I made a quick trip to Euroland over the weekend to our first meeting in Nommay, France.  To be able to represent at the governing body level of the sport is an honor and I’m proud to do it to further the sport we all love. The meeting went well with lots of good discussion. The meeting also coincided with the World Cup, so it was great to see the riders and support crews again.

Aside from watching Katie just throw it down, probably most impressive for me was seeing Sven Nys come out of our 5 hour meeting on Saturday and then riding so strongly on Sunday. That spirit of “giving back” is to be commended. It’s something I admire in everyone out there who’s contributing. Forward progress.

More soon. A few photos.
