Rider Diary #11 – Cody Kaiser

Hmmm.... 11 days without your bags while on an extended stay in Europe?! What a drag. Welcome to Cody Kaiser's world. Luckily, his bikes showed up, but his bags with clothes and other stuff have yet to show. Now, Cody's new rule for flying to Europe is: No transfers in Europe. Get them done in North America then fly direct to Brussels. It keeps problems from popping up with baggage. Rider Diary #10 – Ryan Iddings

Yelling fans, one good line and back row starts describe just some of the challenges facing Ryan Iddings and the other riders at EuroCrossCamp. This is Ryan's first year at Camp. He's quickly learning the ropes in Belgium. "It's tough to describe the racing here, it's brutally fast and much more technical than back in the States. The fans line the whole course but don't really cheer unless you're doing well or you crash - in any case it all sounds the same in Flemish." Diegem Results & Photos

The Superprestige Series raced in Diegem with the added specticale of racing at night. The Elite competition was fierce with Sven Nys and Niels Albert duking it out up front with Zdenek Stybar chasing the leaders down. Snow and ice created huge ruts and technical sections that were very challenging. Promoters added the extra challenge of a sand pit on the back side of the course. Thousands of fans flocked to the race to see their favorites...
